Dr. Emmanuel Salar is originally from Damascus, Oregon – a small town in the foothills of beautiful Mt. Hood. It was here that his love of outdoor activities developed. He enjoys serving in his local church, playing chess, and spending time with friends and family. Him and his wonderful wife Laura are expecting their first child in April 2024!

After 4 years of serving this incredible community, I am writing to share some bittersweet news. I have made the decision to sell Springfield Family Dental and pass the torch of my practice to an exceptional dentist, Dr. Nathan Bowen, effective July 15, 2026.
Together with my wife Laura, our 2 year old Silas, and our newborn Jonas – we have decided to move to Oregon and be closer to family as ours grows. This was not a decision made lightly, but we know it’s the right one for this time.
Change can bring questions, but I want to reassure you that you are in the absolute best hands. I chose Dr. Bowen because he shares my philosophy of care: treating patients like family with gentleness, honesty, and respect.
