Dear, Springfield Family Dental Patients,
We are reaching out to you regarding an important message about your insurance and our participation with it. You may have, or soon may, receive a letter from your dental insurance company stating that we are going out of network. Please be assured that we do not intend to go out of network with your insurance. In all candor, our reimbursements on our current contract were one of the lowest we have with any insurance company and providing best in class dentistry on those reimbursements has become a challenge especially post covid. As a result, we are undergoing ‘contract negotiations’ and have agreed to staying in-network on another contract. However, prior to the new contract taking effect, we need to terminate our existing contract. In doing so, your insurance will send you a letter stating that we are no longer in network. We have already signed a new contract and are waiting for it to take effect. While we don’t have an effective date yet, please be assured that we are staying in network.
We understand that during this process things may seem confusing but please call our office and we will answer any questions you may have and make it easier for you.
